My everyday makeup must haves

I LOVE it when it’s the morning and it’s time for me to put my makeup on (paint my face!!). I enjoy it even more when I love the products I use, so I thought I would share these products with you...
My skin is mostly normal with an occasional oily t-zone, I have a few spot scars from having acne when I was younger and sometimes suffer from nasty red spots due to a dairy intolerance (lucky me!). Because of this, I prefer a fuller coverage, matte base to cover my scars and redness and to lessen the chance of my oily t-zone shining through.
The first product I use to help create a full coverage is my Soap and Glory Plump it up moisturiser. I got this as a Christmas present (thanks Santa) and have not stopped using it since and have recently bought another to replace it! It gives my skin a lovely dewey glow and the rest of my makeup sits beautifully on top!
I am IN LOVE with the Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation, it's the perfect coverage for me and gives a slight glow, it also smells sooo good. I use the Maybelline Eye Eraser Concealer for under my eyes which is fantastic at getting rid of dark circles and making me look awake and like I've had more than 3 hours sleep!!
The Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer is a serious must have for anyone on a budget who needs an awesome full coverage concealer! I use it to brighten my skin and carve out my eyebrows. Speaking of eyebrows, the product I use everyday, without fail, is my Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pomade, this stuff is amazing! You can create whatever kind of brow you like, soft and bushy or really sharp and defined. They also do a great range of colours avaialble to suit everyone.

To set my foundation and concealer I use the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for under my eyes and the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder for everywhere else. This combination of products helps to keep everything in place and again creates a flawless full coverage look. I took a bit of a gamble with the Laura Mercier Powder as it is quite expensive for me (broke student) but it had fantastic reviews and I'm so pleased I bought it, it stops my under eyes creasing and my concealer disappearing throughout the day and revealing my eye bags (yuck!!).

I have wayyy too many eyeshadow palettes for my eyes but whichever I choose I will ALWAYS use my Mac Paint Pot as a base and primer for the eyeshadow. This product stops my eyeshadow from creasing and helps to make it more pigmented, this stuff really is awesome and I love it sooo much!! The Benefit Roller Lash Mascara is a great finish to any eye look, I currently only use it on my bottom lashes as I have eyelash extensions, but when I don't have them I use this mascara on my top lashes too. I really lengthens your eyelashes and gives amazing volume, yay!!!

I have to say that I think one of my favourite parts of doing my makeup is when its time to contour and highlight (glow girl glow!!). I have used Hoola Bronzer for YEARS and have never found anything better, its the perfect colour and is so easy to blend, what more could you want? I have also used my Mac Highlighter for years (literally think I have had the same one for 6 years.. oops), it just does not run out!! It gives such a beautiful glow with a pinky tint and you can really make it pop with a bit of MAC Fix Plus Spray!! The Dandelion Blush is a bit of a more recent purchase, but again, is the best blush I have ever used! I'm not keen on really bright pink cheeks, but this blush gives a gorgeous natural blushed look that blends beautifully with my bronzer and highlight!

And finally, of course, any beauty guru (I wish) knows that no look is complete without a setting spray!! I swear this stuff must have glue in (it doesn't, I've checked) because once its on your face, your makeup does not budge!! I really would say that if you decide to try any of the products I have mentioned in this blog post, get your self a setting spray! Urban Decay have some amazing ones and they really are worth the money.

Thanks a bunch for reading this post, feel free to leave comments, and please recommend any other products for me to try!!

Vixen Beauty.
